PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) is a commonly used material for lining pipes and valves in various industries due to its excellent chemical resistance and low friction properties. When it comes to valves, there are several different types that can be used in conjunction with PTFE-lined pipes. Here are a few examples:

Ball valves: Ball valves have a spherical closure element with a hole through its center. When the valve is open, the hole aligns with the pipe, allowing flow. When the valve is closed, the ball rotates to block the flow. PTFE-lined Ball Valves are commonly used for corrosive applications, where the PTFE lining provides chemical resistance and the ball design ensures tight shut-off.

Butterfly valves: Butterfly valves consist of a disk-shaped closure element that rotates about an axis perpendicular to the flow. The disk can be fully open or fully closed, or positioned at various angles to regulate flow. PTFE-lined butterfly valves are suitable for corrosive media and provide good sealing performance.
